​The Association was founded on November 14, 1995, and has been registered in the Regional Register of Volunteer Organizations since  December 30, 1998, under No. 2318, Social Services and Non-Profit Organizations section, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 460, Article 10, of December 4, 1997.

Since July 2019, the Association has been recognized as a volunteer organization pursuant to Articles 32 et seq. of Legislative Decree No. 117 of 2017 (Third Sector Code), as well as the general principles of the legal system, for the non-profit pursuit, even indirectly, of civic, solidarity, and socially beneficial purposes.

Since 2022 it has been registered in the RUNTS (National Single Register of the Third Sector) D.D. G17858 of 15.12.2022
